The Word Counter analyzes your text in real-time, detecting word boundaries using standard regular expressions. It counts total words, characters (both with and without spaces), sentences, paragraphs, and lines.
Is my text uploaded or stored on any server?
No. Like all BrowserPowerToys utilities, the Word Counter processes all text locally in your browser. Your input data is never sent to any server, ensuring complete privacy.
How is the reading and speaking time estimated?
Reading time is calculated based on an average reading speed of 200 words per minute (WPM), and speaking time is calculated based on an average speaking speed of 130 WPM.
What does the Word Density list show?
The Word Density section lists the most frequently used words in your text (excluding common stop words like "the", "and", "is") along with their percentage of the total word count, helping you optimize keyword repetition.
